Simeone Criticizes Julian Alvarez's Performance

Diego Simeone, the head coach of Atlético Madrid, evaluated striker Julian Alvarez's performance in the match against Barcelona. The leading striker of the "Rojiblancos" was unable to help his team avoid a 3-1 defeat at Camp Nou.

The Argentine player managed only one shot on target and won just two of 12 duels. "Julian can have an off day sometimes.

After all, he is human, and every player can have an unsuccessful day," Simeone said in his comments to "The Touchline." Atlético’s only goal was scored in the 19th minute by Alex Baena.
