Betis equals club record to rise to sixth place in La Liga

Spain’s Real Betis ended the year on a high note by scoring four goals against Getafe and climbing to sixth place in the La Liga standings. This victory marks the club’s 29th win across all competitions in the calendar year of 2025.

This achievement equals the club's all-time record, which was first set four years ago in 2021. In the next round, Betis faces a tough challenge in Madrid against Real Madrid.

The match is scheduled to take place on January 4. A reminder: Real Betis has only won the Spanish league title once, back in 1935, a year before the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War.
