"PSG" player Dembele named French Athlete of the Year
At the end of 2025, the best athlete in France was announced. According to Lequipe journalists, first place in the voting was secured by Paris Saint-Germain’s attacking midfielder Ousmane Dembele.

Another Paris Saint-Germain player, winger Désiré Doué, was also included in the list of the top ten French athletes. Interestingly, France national team and Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé did not make it into the top ten.

In 2025, Dembele was awarded the Ballon d'Or. Alongside PSG, he won both the French Championship and the UEFA Champions League title.
