Carvajal could play against Atletico in the Super Cup

Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal could feature against Atletico in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final on January 8. This was reported by euro-football.ru.reports.

According to The Athletic journalist Guillermo Rai, the 33-year-old is still training on an individual program. He is recovering from a knee injury and is doing everything possible to be ready for the Super Cup match.

The return dates for injured defenders Eder Militao and Trent Alexander-Arnold also remain unknown.

Carvajal has been playing for Real Madrid since 2013. His contract with the club runs until June 30, 2026. This season, the defender has made 9 appearances for the Madrid side but has yet to register a goal or an assist.
