Former footballer Andrey Arshavin, who played for London’s Arsenal and St Petersburg’s Zenit, assessed the current form of ex-Russia striker Aleksandr Kerzhakov. This was reported by euro-football.ru.reports.
Speaking on Fonbet’s YouTube channel, Arshavin noted that Kerzhakov is in good shape and said, “I think he’ll score three against Brunei.”
It is worth recalling that FIFA decided to credit the goal originally attributed to Arshavin in the friendly against Germany (2:2) to Kerzhakov. If the Russian Football Union confirms the decision, Aleksandr’s tally for the national team will reach 31, drawing level with the team’s top scorer Artem Dzyuba.
