In recent days, reports have spread that after the Portuguese specialist’s sharp remarks at a press conference, his future at the club has come into question. Romano confirmed that such information does exist.
“A very tense situation,” the transfer expert described Amorim’s relationship with the Red Devils’ hierarchy. He said the coach is unhappy with the club’s work in the transfer market; there is no clear decision yet, but no positive progress is visible either.
Ruben Amorim’s contract with Manchester United runs until the end of the 2026/27 season. He has been in charge of the team since November 2024.
