Capello noted that starting a new project with very young players is not easy. Nevertheless, the newcomers quickly showed a very high level, which was especially evident in midfield.
He called PSG’s midfield “top-class,” stressing that the players choose positions correctly, have strong character and are not afraid of pressure. According to Capello, the game is built through midfield: quality execution makes teammates’ jobs easier both in attack and in defense.
