Manchester United consider 36-year-old candidate for head coach role

After parting ways with Ruben Amorim, Manchester United continue an active search for a new head coach. This is reported by euro-football.ru reports .

According to The Telegraph journalist Jason Burt, the “Red Devils” have discussed the option of appointing Porto boss Francesco Farioli. The source says the Italian coach’s candidacy has been considered at board level, but a clear stance on the final decision has not yet been formed.

Francesco Farioli took charge of Porto in the summer of 2025. During his career, he has also worked with Fatih Karagümrük, Alanyaspor, Nice and Ajax. At present, Porto under the 36-year-old coach lead the Portuguese league: after 17 rounds, the team have collected 49 points and sit top of the table.
