CIES names Yamal the world’s most valuable footballer

Experts at the CIES Football Observatory, based on their model, calculated players’ market values. According to the results, the most valuable footballer in the world right now is Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal. The 18-year-old talent was valued at €343.1 million. Second in the ranking is Manchester City striker Erling Haaland — €255.1 million. Rounding out the top three is Real star Kylian Mbappé with a figure of €201.3 million.

Further down the top-10 list are Jude Bellingham (€153.1m), Michael Olise (€136.9m), Florian Wirtz (€135.8m), Désiré Doué (€134.6m), João Neves (€130.6m), Arda Güler (€130.3m) and Pedri (€130m).
