According to journalist Diego Firmino, Palmeiras are interested in signing the player. The Brazilian club is ready to offer Casemiro a two-year contract if he leaves Manchester United this summer as a free agent. Palmeiras believe a two-year deal would be more convincing for the player than a one-year option.

Casemiro joined Manchester United from Real Madrid in the summer of 2022 for €70 million. His current contract runs until June 30, 2026. This season he has played 18 matches, scoring 4 goals and providing 1 assist. Transfermarkt values the Brazilian at €8 million.
