Former England striker Gary Lineker praised Chelsea forward Liam Delap, stressing that there is something special about him. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
According to Lineker, Delap still has to prove it fully, but he likes his movement on the pitch, timely runs into open spaces and attempts to break in behind the defensive line. He said that if the forward stays in good physical condition, he will score regularly for Chelsea, and added that he would like Delap to get more and more consistent game time.
For reference, Liam Delap joined Chelsea from Ipswich in the summer of 2025 for €35 million. The player’s contract with the London club runs until June 30, 2031. This season he has made 15 appearances and scored twice.
