Semenyo ranks fourth among the most expensive African transfers in the Premier League

Manchester City have officially announced the signing of winger Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth. Following the transfer, Transfermarkt shared some interesting statistics. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
According to the portal’s valuation, Semenyo cost €72 million, making him the fourth most expensive transfer among African players bought by Premier League clubs.
Higher on this list is the fee City paid for Omar Marmoush (€75 million). For the same €75 million, Manchester United signed Bryan Mbeumo. The record still stands from 2019: Arsenal bought Nicolas Pépé from Lille for €80 million.
The date of Semenyo’s debut for Manchester City has not yet been specified.
