In the 64th minute, the hosts went ahead thanks to a precise long-range strike from Ilyas Chaira—1–0. Later, Betis’ Marc Bartra fired from distance, the goalkeeper saved his team, and Hernandez failed to finish the rebound.
In the 83rd minute, following a cross from Antony, Giovani Lo Celso headed in to level the score—1–1.
As a result, Real Oviedo remain near the bottom of the table with 13 points, while Betis sit in 6th place.
