Zavrazin made a sharp statement about the US national team

Yuriy Zavrazin, who previously served as CEO of Moscow’s Spartak, shared his view on various talks surrounding the World Cup, including the possibility of rescheduling the tournament. He said that, against the backdrop of the situation in the US, he considers some people’s “exclusion” claims to be groundless. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
“The World Cup will be held in the US in six months. There are sponsors, there are obligations, billions have been spent. Everyone understands this, but amateurs are talking about exclusion. FIFA is also under the influence of the US,” Sovetskiy Sport quotes Zavrazin as saying.
As a reminder, the next World Cup will be held for the first time in history with 48 national teams. The tournament will take place from June 11 to July 19 at stadiums in Canada, Mexico and the United States.
