David Villa, known for his playing career, shared his opinion on who the strongest player in football history is. He was asked whether Lionel Messi, whom he once played with at Barcelona, is truly considered the greatest of all time. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
Villa did not hesitate: he called Messi the best footballer, unquestionably and by a wide margin. The former striker stressed that until Messi ends his career, the title of the world’s best player will remain with him.
Villa also added that Messi is the strongest among both the players he played with on the same team and those he faced on the pitch as an opponent.
Recall that Lionel Messi has won the Ballon d’Or eight times in his career. The Argentine star currently plays for Inter Miami.
