Xabi Alonso harshly criticizes Real before resigning

Xabi Alonso stepped down as Real’s head coach on Monday. According to the El Larguero program, at the meeting where the resignation decision was made, the specialist openly criticized the club’s working approach. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .

According to the source, Alonso stressed that players should not be given too much authority. He emphasized that if the club always sides with the players, it becomes much harder for the coach to maintain order and control in the dressing room.

Alvaro Arbeloa has been appointed as Real’s new head coach. The team will play its next match on Wednesday, January 14, in the Spanish Cup against Albacete, with kick-off at 01:00 (Tashkent time).
