Barcelona believe one goalkeeper was missing for a UCL triumph

Barcelona ended their Champions League run last season in the semi-finals, with the Catalans losing to Inter Milan 6–7 on aggregate over two legs. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
According to journalist Adrian Sanchez, some club executives believe that if goalkeeper Joan Garcia had been in the squad that campaign, the Blaugrana could have won the Champions League. The 24-year-old Spanish keeper was signed in June from Espanyol for €25 million.
Club officials stress that the current core of the team under Hans-Dieter Flick can reach the biggest goals, so there is no need for expensive transfers. As a reminder, Barcelona have already secured a place in the Champions League play-off stage, but could still miss out on a direct ticket to the round of 16 after the league phase.
