Several matches ended in the 24th round of the French Championship. One of the most notable results was the minimal victories of Lille and Brest. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports. .
Lille almost completely controlled the ball in their home match against Nantes, but there were few chances created. The fate of the meeting was decided only in added time: the hosts won 1-0 thanks to a goal in the 90th minute.
Brest, however, showed character despite playing with one man down for almost half the game away against Metz. An accurate shot from Ludovic Ajorque in the 69th minute brought the visitors a 1-0 victory.
The clash between Lorient and Auxerre was a goal-filled battle for the spectators. Bamba Dieng scored a double, helping the hosts avoid defeat – 2:2.
