Bayern forward Olise falls asleep in his car

Bayern Munich forward Michael Olise's former coach, Mark Bowen, shared an interesting anecdote about the player's calm demeanor. Bowen recalled that every morning when he arrived at the training facility, Olise would be found sleeping in his car, having left his home in London at 5:30 AM to avoid traffic. Bowen noted that other players would often ask about Olise's whereabouts, to which he would respond that the young talent was already at the facility, prompting them to wake him up for training. Olise, who previously played for youth teams at Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City, later transferred to Bayern for €53 million and has had an impressive season with 20 goals and 29 assists in 47 matches.
Mark Bowen, the former coach of Michael Olise, has shared an interesting story about the calm nature of the Bayern Munich forward. Goal.com reports.
"Every morning when I arrived at the training ground, Michael would be asleep in his car," recalls his former coach at Reading.
During his teenage years, Olise lived in London. He would set off at 5:30 a.m. to avoid the capital's traffic.
Upon arriving at the training ground parking lot, he would fall asleep behind the wheel.
"The senior players would ask me where he was. I would tell them that Michael was already in the parking lot.
We would have to knock on the window to wake him up for training," says Bowen.
Olise previously played for the youth teams of Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City. Bowen believes these clubs may have misinterpreted his self-confidence and let him go as a result.
He later moved to Bayern Munich via Crystal Palace for 53 million euros. Currently, the talented player has recorded 20 goals and 29 assists in 47 matches this season.
