Bayern Munich has officially confirmed its interest in Tornike Kvaratskhelia, the brother of PSG forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The 16-year-old talent recently participated in training sessions at the German club's youth academy and impressed the coaching staff. This is reported by Goal.com .
Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund confirmed the young player's presence at the club's facilities and highlighted his talent. According to Freund, it is too early to compare Tornike with his brother Khvicha, but the club will closely monitor his development process.
Tornike Kvaratskhelia appeared in a friendly match for Bayern's U-17 team and managed to score a goal. Currently with Dinamo Tbilisi, the young player is attracting the attention of experts with his technical skills.
Under FIFA regulations, as a citizen of a non-EU country, Tornike cannot sign an official contract with a German club until he turns 18. Therefore, Bayern is considering the option of loaning him to one of their partner clubs for his development.
