Legend of English women's football Mary Earps is expected to end her stint at Paris Saint-Germain and return to the Women's Super League (WSL). London City Lionesses have begun serious efforts to sign the experienced goalkeeper as a free agent. This is reported by Goal.com reports .

London City Lionesses, owned by Michele Kang, are implementing a strategy to attract world-class stars to strengthen their squad. According to BBC Sport, the club's management is confident in reaching a positive outcome in negotiations with Earps.

The 33-year-old goalkeeper's contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires in June. Despite keeping 12 clean sheets in 22 appearances in the French league this season, it is almost certain she will leave the Paris club.

Mary Earps won the European Championship with the England national team and has been named FIFA's The Best Goalkeeper twice. Her successful performances for Manchester United and the 2024 FA Cup title testify to her experience.
