Carbon fiber production to be launched in Tatarstan

The State Expertise and Pricing Department for Construction and Architecture of the Republic of Tatarstan has issued a positive conclusion on the project for a new carbon fiber production line by Rosatom's composite division. This was reported by Ixbt.com reports .
According to Rosatom's Telegram channel, the facility will produce a wide range of carbon fibers. The launch of production is scheduled for 2027–2028 according to initial plans.
Carbon fiber is used to create lightweight yet extremely strong structures. It allows for the replacement of metals in industries where rigidity and low weight are critical.
This material is widely used in aviation, racing cars, sports equipment, construction, medicine, and many other fields.
