Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro: Privacy Display and Ultra camera in a compact body

Samsung is planning a radical shift in its flagship device lineup. According to the Korean publication ETNews, the Galaxy S27 series, expected to launch in early 2027, will feature an entirely new model — the Galaxy S27 Pro. This model is expected to pack almost all the technical capabilities of the Ultra version into a much more compact body. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .
According to the new strategy, the Samsung flagship family will consist of four models: Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, Galaxy S27 Pro, and Galaxy S27 Ultra. The Pro version will be equipped with a 6.47-inch OLED display. This makes it slightly larger than the base model, but significantly more compact than the Ultra model.
One of the key features of the Galaxy S27 Pro is the Privacy Display function. For now, this technology is expected to be used only in the Galaxy S26 Ultra model. Additionally, the new smartphone will feature a powerful camera system consisting of 200, 50, and 50-megapixel sensors. A similar camera setup is expected to be installed in the Galaxy S27 Ultra model as well.
Experts believe that the release of the Pro model could be Samsung's response to the low demand for the experimental Edge series. By creating a "compact Ultra" without the S Pen stylus but with top-tier technical specifications, the company aims to attract users who prefer smaller flagships.
