Bakery in Bukhara illegally used 530 million soums’ worth of gas

A case of gross violation of natural resource usage rules was identified in Bukhara region. During an inspection carried out by the regional department of “Uzenergoinspection”, a serious violation was revealed at a bakery belonging to the private entrepreneurship entity “S. R. R.”, located on Great Silk Road Street in the city of Gala Asia.

According to the information, the gas equipment at the bakery was connected to the main supply bypassing the legal meter. In other words, the business facility had been illegally using natural gas for a long period.

Preliminary calculations show that the damage caused to the gas supply company amounted to 530 million soums. Such situations can lead not only to economic losses but also pose serious safety threats.

Currently, a pre-investigation check is being conducted by law enforcement authorities regarding the case.

Officials emphasize the importance of taking strict measures against such violations and strengthening the system of legal and efficient use of resources.
