On the morning of November 4, light snow began to fall in the upper part of the Kamchik Pass, reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the ministry, employees of the MES, the traffic police, and the Kamchikavtoyul company are jointly working to clear the road of snow, prevent the formation of ice, and spread a sand–salt mixture.
Rescuers continue to assist drivers, ensure safety, and evacuate vehicles stranded on the road.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations called on drivers to strictly observe all safety rules when traveling through the pass, avoid excessive speed, and refrain from dangerous maneuvers.
In videos released by the ministry, it can be seen that although the snowfall is light, the pass is already covered with a white layer. Meanwhile, on social media, videos have appeared showing snowfall in Jizzakh, Kashkadarya, and other mountainous regions as well.
So far, the snow has not reached Tashkent, but in many regions, the first signs of winter are already being felt.
