Rain and wind expected in Uzbekistan at the beginning of the week

On Monday, May 11, rain may return to some regions of Uzbekistan. The Uzhydromet agency has announced the regions with a high probability of precipitation.
In Tashkent, the weather will be changeable, with a chance of rain at night and in the morning, and dry during the day. A westerly wind will blow from the east at 3–8 m/s. Temperatures will be around 14–16°C at night and 23–25°C during the day.
In Karakalpakstan and Khorezm, the weather will be mostly pleasant with no precipitation expected. A westerly wind will blow from the east at 7–12 m/s. Temperatures will be 10–15°C at night and 23–28°C during the day.
In Bukhara and Navoi, wind speeds may reach 15–20 m/s in some areas, accompanied by dust storms. Temperatures will be 12–17°C at night and 23–28°C during the day.
In Tashkent, Sirdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible at night and in the morning. A westerly wind will blow at 7–12 m/s, reaching 13–18 m/s in some areas. Temperatures will be 12–17°C at night and 23–28°C during the day.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya, the weather will be mostly pleasant, with wind speeds potentially reaching 13–18 m/s in some areas. Temperatures will be 14–19°C at night and 25–30°C during the day.
In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana, there is a chance of short-term rain and thunderstorms, with wind speeds potentially reaching 13–18 m/s in some areas. Temperatures will be 15–20°C at night and 20–25°C during the day.
In the foothills and mountainous regions of the republic, heavy rain and thunderstorms are possible in some areas. Temperatures will be 3–8°C at night and 10–15°C during the day. The risk of flash floods remains in mountainous areas until May 12.
According to Uzhydromet, rainfall in May is lower than in March and April, often occurring as short-term showers and thunderstorms. In mountainous areas, rain may increase the risk of flash floods.
