Donald Trump has issued sharp and decisive instructions regarding the situation around the Strait of Hormuz via a statement on social media. According to his remarks, the US Navy has been ordered to immediately destroy any boat—even small ones—attempting to lay mines in the area.
Trump stated that there "should be no hesitation" in this regard. He emphasized that US vessels will act decisively against any threat.
Furthermore, he announced that the operations of specialized vessels engaged in neutralizing mines in the Strait of Hormuz have already commenced. He noted that these efforts are currently underway and that instructions have been given to expand them threefold.
Experts suggest that such forceful orders could further escalate tensions in the region, as the Strait of Hormuz remains one of the most critical choke points for global energy routes.
