Russian car-sharing service Delimobil has introduced a new method for renting vehicles in areas with limited or unstable internet connectivity. Users can now manage the vehicle using a voice assistant. This was reported by Ixbt.com reporting .
To use the new feature, the customer must first book the car via the app in an area with internet or Wi-Fi access. Upon reaching the vehicle, it is sufficient to call support via a special button in the app and follow the voice robot's instructions.
The voice assistant guides the user through the process of photographing the car and uploading the images to the system. This solution was developed specifically to provide convenience in areas with weak internet signals.
Once the trip is completed, the car doors lock automatically via Bluetooth technology. To end the rental session, another simple phone call is sufficient.
