In the film "Cholyk", the drama of man and nature is manifested in real life

On June 20, one of the most anticipated closed screenings will take place at the Renaissance cinema in the capital — the first screening of the feature film “Cholyk”. This film is of great interest not only to fans of cinematography and drama, but also to anyone who is not indifferent to environmental issues.

“Cholyk” — as its name suggests — tells the story of shepherds’ lives and the real difficulties that arise in this environment. Through the apprentice of a shepherd, the film demonstrates to the audience the relationships between humans and nature, which are based on balance, trust and tolerance.

The film was shot at the order of the Cinematography Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Surkhandarya Regional Administration. It puts forward important ideas about creating new directions in national cinema, especially about depicting emotional connections between man and nature.

The scriptwriter and director is Jamoliddin Kuziboev. This project is his directorial debut. His successful direction not only encourages the audience to watch the film with a new perspective, but also compels them to think and feel.

In this film, which features many well-known actors, the main roles are played by Ulugbek Muhammadkarimov and Sardor Abduhashimov. Also, talented actors such as Noila Tashkentbaeva, Karim Mirkhodiev, Tokhir Saidov, Sayyora Yunusova, Farhod Abdullaev and others were involved in the project.
