During January–November 2025, Uzbekistan recorded significant growth in its foreign trade exports. By the end of the 11 months of the current year, the country's export figures totaled $30.9 billion. This result is 26.2% higher compared to the same period last year, demonstrating sustained positive momentum in foreign economic activity.
The data was published by the Uzbekistan National Statistics Committee, which also emphasized the continuously expanding geography of exports.
Russia remains the leading partner
In terms of export destinations, the largest share was attributed to Russia. During the 11-month period, $4 billion worth of goods were delivered to this country. Russia remains one of Uzbekistan's largest traditional export markets.
At the same time, China, Afghanistan, and Kazakhstan also hold significant positions in Uzbekistan's export structure. Trade relations with these countries have been strengthening year by year.
Top 10 countries by export share
During the reporting period, the countries receiving the highest export volumes from Uzbekistan were as follows:
- Russia — $4 billion
- China — $1.9 billion
- Afghanistan — $1.3 billion
- Kazakhstan — $1.3 billion
- Turkey — $1 billion
- France — $775.8 million
- UAE — $642.7 million
- Kyrgyzstan — $560.4 million
- Tajikistan — $531.8 million
- Pakistan — $321.8 million
Expanding geography
Experts note that these figures indicate not only growth in export volume but also significant diversification of its geography. In addition to traditional neighboring markets, the share of European and Middle Eastern countries has also remained notable.
In summary, the first 11 months of 2025 proved to be an active period for Uzbekistan’s exports. The rapid growth rates illustrate that new opportunities are emerging in the country's foreign trade and that export policies are being effectively implemented.
