The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has announced the new values of foreign currencies effective from March 19, 2026. According to the updated data, most major foreign currencies have appreciated against the soum (UZS).
In particular, the official exchange rate of the US dollar increased by 49.84 UZS, reaching 12,178.85 UZS. The euro rate also showed a significant increase, rising by 84.2 UZS to reach 14,053.18 UZS.
Updated rates for other foreign currencies:
1 Russian Ruble — 146.54 UZS (-1.45)
1 Pound Sterling — 16,272.16 UZS (+96.91)
1 Chinese Yuan — 1,772.01 UZS (+10.84)
In the country's commercial banks, exchange rates are being adjusted according to the latest official figures provided by the Central Bank.
