On the night of August 20, an incident in the Chilanzar district caused serious concern among residents. A bull that escaped from a kitchen threatened the lives of ordinary citizens with its large and frightening actions. On social media, news of the event spread quickly, and people began reporting urgently.
The Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs officially commented on the situation. It was reported that at 2:00 a.m., the 1st Department of Internal Affairs of the Chilanzar district received a report that the cattle had gored one citizen and posed a danger to other peaceful residents.
Employees of the district internal affairs authorities, including those working in the Bektopi mahalla, were called to night duty and, together with the kitchen staff, attempted to capture the large bull. At that time, the head of the 1st Department of Internal Affairs of the Chilanzar district, Bakhtiyor Khojaev, immediately arrived at the scene.
Bakhtiyor Khojaev stated:
“We saw that the citizen born in 1972 was indeed gored by the bull, sustaining injuries, and called the emergency medical team. After that, night duty crews were summoned to capture the bull.”
The situation escalated: the bull ran toward people on the street, and when the inspector tried to stop it, the animal quickly ran past him as well. The inspector was hospitalized, and doctors provided information about his condition.
According to doctors, the patient suffered severe injuries in the morning after being gored by the bull. Examinations revealed a closed head injury, concussion, and injuries to the chest and face. The patient is currently in moderate condition and continues treatment in the neurosurgery department.
To prevent the bull from threatening citizens on city streets, a shot was fired at the animal, and it was neutralized. The incident caused extensive discussion among residents, who praised the rapid and professional actions of the internal affairs officers.
Local residents emphasized that the incident highlights the need to ensure animal safety on city streets, monitor escaped bulls, and promptly inform the relevant authorities in emergencies.
