New benefits have been introduced in our country to make leisure and travel for seniors even more comfortable. The Ministry of Transport announced special discounts as part of the “Tourism Month for Seniors”.
According to the report, “Uzbekistan Airways” offers up to 15 percent discount on economy class tickets for men over 60 and women over 55. This offer is valid for domestic flights from November 1 to November 30, 2025.
In addition, “Uzbekistan Railways” has introduced a 20 percent discount on the fare portion of tickets for this category of passengers on all domestic routes (except for “Afrosiyob” high-speed trains). The discount is valid annually from October 2 to 8 and from November 1 to 30.
According to the Ministry of Transport, this initiative aims to encourage senior citizens to travel across the country and maintain an active lifestyle.
“From now on, traveling for seniors will be not only joyful but also financially beneficial,” the ministry’s statement says.
