A 23-year-old man who harassed a woman at the Pakhtakor station has been arrested

A young man who behaved inappropriately towards a female passenger in the Tashkent metro was punished administratively.

According to the information, S.B., born in 2002, on September 20, 2025, while traveling along the "Friendship of Peoples" route from the "Pakhtakor" station, touched the lower part of the waist of a woman named A.D. and sexually harassed her in a public place.

The case was heard in the Shaykhantakhur District Administrative Court of Tashkent, where he confessed to his actions and expressed regret for his actions. At the same time, he requested a lenient sentence from the court.

According to the court's decision, S.B. was found guilty under Article 411, Part 1 ("Sexual harassment in a public place") of the Code of Administrative Responsibility and sentenced to 5 days of administrative arrest.

The young man's actions also drew sharp criticism from the public.
