A man harassed a minor girl in Tashkent

A case of sexual harassment occurred in the Yangihayot district of Tashkent. This was reported by a UPL correspondent.

According to reports, on October 22, a man living in the "Yangi turmush" neighborhood harassed a relative of his wife. The 17-year-old girl had come to Tashkent to study at a higher educational institution and was living at her aunt’s house.

One day, the aunt’s husband entered the girl’s room and tried to kiss her. In court, the man admitted his guilt.

He claimed that he was intoxicated on that day and could not clearly remember his actions. By court decision, the man was sentenced to five days in jail and found guilty of sexual harassment.
