During another operational event conducted by law enforcement agencies in Samarkand, a person involved in drug trafficking was detained. During the operation conducted by the regional department of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office and relevant agencies within the framework of the comprehensive preventive measures "Safe and Healthy Country," citizen M.S. was placed under special control.
According to the information, he was caught with material evidence while giving 2.59 grams of "hashish" to citizen M.Kh. for 2 million soums. After the lawbreaker's actions were confirmed, a criminal case was initiated against him.
In connection with the situation, materials were sent for investigation under Article 273 of the Criminal Code - violation of the rules for the manufacture, acquisition, storage or illegal sale of narcotic drugs.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
