Sensational animal-related offense uncovered in Bukhara

In the Bukhara region, the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change, the State Environmental Control Inspectorate, and local authorities conducted another raid.
During the inspection, it was revealed that 8 grey geese were caught by two individuals in the desert area of Peshku district without any permits. 3 million 296 thousand soums were recovered from the offenders for damage caused to the animal world, and a fine was imposed. The birds were seized, and the documents were sent to court.
It was also established that citizen F.M. held a circus performance with a tiger-shaped boa constrictor in the parking lot of the Central Market of Bukhara. There were no permits for the snake, and it turned out that the rules for its storage and use were violated.
As a result, the snake was seized, veterinarized, and placed in the Samani Zoo for temporary storage.
For information, starting from 2025, individuals are prohibited from keeping wild animals in semi-free conditions or captivity, as well as demonstrating them in circuses.
A report was drawn up against the offender F.M. on the basis of Article 921 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, and the documents were sent to the court.
