An unknown object was observed in the skies of Tashkent and Namangan

On February 19, an unknown object was observed falling from the sky near the "Kosmonavtlar" metro station in Tashkent. A similar situation was recorded in the Namangan region.

It is reported that residents in Namangan felt strong noise and tremors similar to earthquakes. In the capital, the movement of the object was captured on video.

According to witnesses, the flashes and black smoke continued in the sky for several hours. The incident occurred around 12:30-13:00.

According to the Astronomical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, it has not yet been officially confirmed that this object is a meteorite. Preliminary investigations into the situation are ongoing.
