As a result of an operational event conducted in the Shaykhontohur district of Tashkent, a person distributing drugs using the "zakladka" method was detained. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to official information, when law enforcement agencies searched a citizen named Artyom, 20 pieces of "hashish" wrapped in black adhesive tape were found on him. Subsequently, when the suspect's mobile phone was examined, the locations of another 14 narcotic substances hidden at various addresses were found.
Operational activities continued, and his residence was also searched. As a result, 28 blue-wrapped and 9 black-wrapped packages of narcotic substances, as well as electronic scales and other physical evidence, were identified and confiscated from there.
In his testimony, the suspect confessed to engaging in this illegal activity and addressed the youth:
“When I was caught, I had drugs on me. They were also found in my home. I advise all my peers not to follow this path; the end of this work will be bad,” he stated.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this situation under Part 5 of Article 273 of the Criminal Code. Currently, a precautionary measure of “detention” has been applied to the suspect, and investigative actions are ongoing.
Officials emphasized that the fight against such crimes will continue consistently and urged citizens to remain vigilant.
