Fletcher spoke to Man United players after Amorim’s departure

Manchester United interim head coach Darren Fletcher shared details of his talk with the team’s players after Ruben Amorim was sacked. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .

The Portuguese coach’s resignation was officially announced on Monday. The 41-year-old Scot Fletcher will lead the team in the next match — on Wednesday against Burnley.

Fletcher noted that he first spoke privately with captain Bruno Fernandes. He also paid attention to players he didn’t know well — including conversations with Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha.

The Burnley vs Manchester United match will kick off at 01:15 (Tashkent time).
