London club Arsenal has emerged as a serious contender to sign PSG forward Bradley Barcola. Mikel Arteta aims to strengthen his attacking line ahead of the new season and views the Frenchman as a primary target. This is reported by Goal.com reports .
According to Sky Germany, Arsenal representatives have already initiated preliminary talks with the player's agents. Barcola is expected to fit into Arteta's system due to his pace and 1v1 dribbling ability. While no official bid has been submitted yet, discussions between the parties are ongoing.
Barcelona and Liverpool are also active in this transfer race. The Catalans have been scouting the player for a long time, while Liverpool is also considering Barcola as they look to refresh their squad.
The 22-year-old has significantly improved his game since moving from Lyon to PSG in 2023. Although he has become a key player under Luis Enrique, interest from top European clubs could spark intense competition in the summer transfer window.
