Real Madrid president Florentino Perez harshly criticized LaLiga referees during his speech on Tuesday. He directly blames refereeing decisions for his team's failures in the title race. This is reported by Goal.com reports .
Perez claims that Real Madrid has been deprived of 18 points this season due to refereeing errors. He expressed dissatisfaction that the club has won the league only seven times during his tenure, insisting that the figure should actually be 14.
Perez also shared his thoughts on the Negreira case. He called it the worst scandal in football history and did not hide his frustration that the issue of payments made by Barcelona to the former vice-president of the refereeing committee remains unresolved.
The Real Madrid chief considers it illogical that referees from the Negreira era are still active. According to him, despite Barcelona benefiting from refereeing services for years, no serious changes have occurred in the system.
