Why Lamine Yamal feels no pressure and considers himself a superhero

Barcelona and Spain national team young star Lamine Yamal has spoken about how he plays freely and without nerves in the world's biggest stadiums. According to him, this calmness comes from having played football since childhood and knowing the game perfectly. This is reported by Goal.com reports .

The 18-year-old talent compared his current state to a simple job with a touch of humor. "If I were doing something I didn't know, like a regular office job, I would be very nervous about making mistakes. But football is my lifelong training. I feel at home on the pitch. Seeing my parents watching me with pride in the stands takes all the pressure away," Yamal said in an interview with FIFA.

The young forward compared his feelings when in peak form to being a superhero. He noted that when the game flows, he feels invincible. "It's like being a superhero — everything happens naturally. I become faster, stronger, and adrenaline fills my whole body. I want to reach that same level at the World Cup," the player added.

Yamal's playing style depends largely on his mood. He likes to create freely on the wings and admitted that his efficiency drops if he is not enjoying the game. "My game is based on creativity. If I don't enjoy it, everything becomes boring and uninspiring. But when I'm happy, like at the European Championship, I feel completely free on the pitch," the Barcelona star explained.
