Xiaomi lowers the price of the Redmi K90 Pro Max

Xiaomi has lowered the price of its flagship smartphone, the Redmi K90 Pro Max, ahead of its annual "618" sales festival. The device's price had previously been increased due to rising costs of components, particularly memory chips, but it has now returned to its starting level of 4,000 yuan. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports.
Commenting on the rise in memory prices, Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing noted that this situation is linked to a sharp increase in demand from high-performance computing systems and data centers. According to him, the period of rising prices is lasting longer than expected.
According to data from the analytical agency TrendForce, DRAM memory prices increased by 90–95 percent and NAND memory by 55–60 percent in the first quarter of 2026. Experts predict that this trend will continue until the end of next year.
Lu Weibing advised customers to purchase new devices specifically during discount periods. The company is trying to create favorable opportunities for users while memory prices continue to rise.
