Information spread about a conflict at a parking lot in Uchkuprik district of Fergana region. According to the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs, the incident occurred on October 1 at the bus station.
It was reported that I.I., born in 2000 and residing in Uchchi mahalla, came to talk to S.K., born in 1998 and living in Achchiqol mahalla, due to a previously existing dispute. He was accompanied by his acquaintance M.A., a resident of Shaldiramok mahalla in Kokand city. The conversation turned into a quarrel, during which I.I. and M.A. used a cold weapon to inflict bodily injury on S.K.
After that, S.K.’s acquaintance B.M., a resident of Tokhlimergan mahalla in Kokand city, also got involved in the conflict. He ran over M.A. with his “Equinox” car.
As a result, S.K. and M.A. were hospitalized.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 97 through part 25 of the Criminal Code. Measures are being taken to detain the persons involved in the incident. Law enforcement agencies stated that the rule of law will be ensured.
