On October 7, 2025, a terrible tragedy occurred in the Chust district of Namangan region. It was reported that a man living in the village of Achcha brutally killed his wife. As a result of the incident, two children aged 5 and 6 were left without their mother.
According to reports, on that day at around 10:00 a.m., based on a court decision, officers of the Compulsory Enforcement Bureau and representatives of five relevant organizations carried out the process of returning the woman — B.M. — and her children to the house. After the visit, the officials left the house.
A few minutes later, only the woman and her husband — R. — remained inside. At that moment, a serious argument broke out between them. In front of their children, the man first beat his wife and then strangled her to death. After committing the crime, he called the emergency medical service.
It was reported that a few days earlier — on October 2 — a similar attempt to return the woman to the house had been scheduled. However, since the homeowners were absent that day, the doors were locked and the procedure was not completed. Despite this, the deceased had a key and entered the house, but the officials, noting that she was alone, suggested postponing the process. The woman refused, saying, “I have nowhere else to live.”
Earlier, it was also reported that she had called the police hotline (102) complaining about injuries inflicted by her husband.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
