A teahouse in Samarkand was found to be illegally using gas

A gas theft incident has been uncovered in Samarkand. As a result of an inspection conducted by the Samarkand Regional Territorial Department of Uzenergoinspektsiya, the regional prosecutor's office, and the local gas supply company, it was revealed that a teahouse located in the "Dukchiyon" neighborhood of Samarkand was unauthorizedly connected to the gas network and illegally used natural gas.

The event revealed that the damage caused to the gas supply company as a result of this violation amounted to 556.8 million soums. This amount was calculated based on preliminary calculations.

Currently, law enforcement agencies are conducting a pre-investigation check on this fact, and appropriate measures are planned to be taken against the responsible persons.

This incident not only damaged the gas supply system but also once again demonstrated the urgency of combating violations in the region.
