Market analysts note that such fluctuations are common as billionaire fortunes depend heavily on global market conditions and asset valuations. Meanwhile, the broader global index shows a decline for seven of the world's 20 richest people. Notably, "LVMH" chief Bernard Arnault saw his fortune drop by $44 billion.
